Houston, TX – A 61-year-old man was killed Tuesday morning in a motorcycle accident in Houston, according to the police.
The deadly accident happened around 11:15 a.m. on August 19 in the 300 block of Patton Street.
Police said a white Moto Guzzi motorcycle was traveling eastbound on the street while a gray Honda HR-V was traveling westbound. The Honda failed to yield the right of way while making a left turn into a parking lot. The motorcyclist lost control, fell, and slid into the Honda.
The motorcyclist was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead. His name has not been released.
The driver of the Honda, a 37-year-old woman, remained at the scene, did not show signs of intoxication, and was questioned and released.
The police are investigating the accident.
