Wiggins was pronounced dead at the scene

San Antonio, TX. – A man was killed in a collision early Thursday morning near Dumas in Moore County.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the accident happened around 12:04 a.m. on US 87.
Scott Wiggins, 67, was walking south on US 87 when he was struck by a truck tractor towing a semi-trailer.
The driver of the truck tractor failed to stop after the collision, and neither the driver nor the truck has been located.
Wiggins was pronounced dead at the scene.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
