Odessa, TX – Two people were injured Thursday evening in a two-vehicle collision involving a semi-truck in Odessa, according to the Odessa Police Department.

The collision occurred around 5:52 p.m. on September 4 on East Highway 191.

Police said a semi-truck was traveling eastbound in the outside lane of the highway while a Chevrolet Camaro was traveling eastbound in the inside lane.

The Camaro made an unsafe lane change and hit the semi-truck.

The Camaro then spun out of control and hit a guardrail.

The driver and passenger of the Camaro were taken to Medical Center Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

No other injuries were reported.

The police are investigating the accident.
