Houston, TX – A Houston Independent School District student was injured Tuesday morning after being struck by a vehicle in Houston, according to officials.
The accident happened on September 9 on Eastside Street at Westheimer near the high school campus.
Officials said the student had been dropped off near Lamar High School when they were struck by a vehicle.
The student was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
No additional information was available.
The Houston Police Department is investigating the accident.
