Bryan, TX – Multiple people were injured Monday night in a two-vehicle collision in Bryan, according to the Texas DPS.

The collision happened around 9:00 p.m. on September 8 on Elmo Weedon Road.

DPS said the driver of a 2020 Jeep Gladiator was picking up a bottle off the floor of their car when they veered into the left lane and hit a westbound 2024 Honda Pilot.

The Pilot driver, a 30-year-old woman, and her three children ages, 10, 8, and 4, were injured in the accident. The 4-year-old was in a car seat but was not properly buckled in at the time of the accident.

The 4-year-old had serious injuries, while the other two children had minor injuries.

The driver of the Gladiator was reported to have possible injuries.

All five victims were taken to the hospital for treatment.

No further information was released.

The DPS is investigating the accident.
