Jack County, TX – A man was killed on Tuesday in a two-vehicle accident in Jack County, according to the Texas DPS.
The fatal collision happened around 4:52 p.m. on September 9 at the intersection of FM 2201 and SH 199 about 17 miles southeast of Jacksboro.
DPS said 33-year-old Carl Lorne James Thomas, from Mineral Wells, was driving when he ran a stop sign at the intersection and was struck by a truck that was towing a trailer.
Thomas was killed in the accident.
No additional information was available.
The DPS is investigating the accident.
