The deadly collision happened around 10:20 a.m. on September 11 in the 2400 block of Ruth Street near 21st Street.

Corpus Christi, TX – The woman who was killed Thursday morning in a pedestrian accident in Corpus Christi has been identified as 78-year-old Alejandra Franco, according to the Nueces County Medical Examiner.
The deadly collision happened around 10:20 a.m. on September 11 in the 2400 block of Ruth Street near 21st Street.
Police said a red GMC Sierra was traveling eastbound on the street when it struck a black Dodge Ram truck that was traveling westbound.
The GMC then sideswiped a Kia SUV that was parked on the side of the road and then hit a woman.
The woman, Franco, was taken to the hospital, where she later died.
The police are investigating the accident.
