Coleman County, TX – Seventeen prisoners were injured Tuesday afternoon in a bus collision in Coleman County, according to the Texas DPS.
The collision happened around 12:15 p.m. on September 16 on Highway 283 just north of CR 258.
DPS said a Texas Department of Criminal Justice transfer bus rear-ended a pickup truck.
17 prisoners in the bus were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
No other details were provided.
The authorities are investigating the accident.
