Killeen, TX – The 28-year-old man who was killed Thursday morning in a motorcycle accident in Killeen has been identified as Jeffrey Pogany, according to the Killeen Police Department.
The deadly accident happened around 4:17 a.m. on September 18 on the westbound Interstate 14 at the Trimmier overpass.
Police said a blue 2014 Honda sedan, driven by a juvenile, was traveling at a high rate of speed when it attempted to overtake and rear-ended a westbound 2008 Yamaha motorcycle.
The motorcyclist, Pogany, died at the scene.
No other injuries were reported in the accident.
The accident closed the interstate.
The police are investigating the accident.
