Corpus Christi, TX. – A woman and her four children were hospitalized after being injured in a car accident on Monday morning in Corpus Christi.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the accident happened at the intersection of FM 892 and FM 2826.
A woman was driving a 2016 Toyota Sienna westbound on FM 2826 when she failed to yield right of way at the stop sign and collided with a southbound 2016 Kia Sportage towing another vehicle.
The woman was injured in the accident and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
Four children, ages 10, 8, 6, and 4, were taken to Driscoll Children’s Hospital.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
