Corpus Christi, TX. – Authorities have identified the people who died in a car accident in Corpus Christi on Monday.
According to the Corpus Christi Police Department, the accident happened on Old Brownsville Road at Saratoga Boulevard.
An SUV was traveling southbound when it lost control, hydroplaned into the northbound lane, and collided with a dump truck.
Two women in the SUV were killed in the accident.
The two were identified by the Nueces County Medical Examiner’s Office as Annstaisa Rabe, 22, and Uballie Gutierrez, 21.
A juvenile passenger in the SUV was also taken to a hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
The dump truck driver was hospitalized as a precaution.
More details about the accident were not released.
