Fort Worth, TX – One person was killed and another was critically injured early Sunday morning in a hit-and-run accident in Fort Worth, according to the police.
The deadly accident happened around 1:00 a.m. on September 28 in the 1800 block of East Lancaster Avenue near the Salvation Army Center.
Police said two people were hit by a car. One of them was pronounced dead at the scene, and the other was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The involved driver, 27-year-old Saul Montanez, fled the scene before officers arrived. His vehicle was later found, and Montanez was arrested and taken into custody.
The police are investigating the accident.
