The semi-truck caught fire after the collision

Borden County, TX. – An Odessa man was killed in a car accident on Saturday afternoon in Borden County.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the accident happened around 3 p.m. on Farm-to-Market Road 1054.
The 55-year-old man was driving a 2005 Freightliner with a trailer when he lost control and veered into a ditch, and overturned.
The semi-truck caught fire after the collision.
The Odessa man was killed in the accident.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
