San Antonio, TX – A 37-year-old woman was injured in a pedestrian accident in San Antonio’s Northwest Side, according to the police.
The accident happened at the intersection of Memorial Street and Culebra Road.
Police said the woman was allegedly standing in the middle of Memorial Street, collecting personal items from a family member in a separate vehicle, when she was struck by a northbound white Mazda pickup truck.
The woman was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The truck driver fled the scene after the accident. Officers located the Mazda and the driver, a 35-year-old man, and he cooperated with the investigators.
The police are investigating the accident.
