San Angelo, TX – Two people were injured Thursday morning in a three-vehicle collision in San Angelo, according to the police.
The collision was reported around 11:46 a.m. on October 9 at the intersection of South Abe Street and West Beauregard Avenue.
Police said a gray Chevy pickup truck was traveling westbound while a red Jeep Cherokee was traveling eastbound. A white Chevy Traverse ran a red light at the intersection, which caused the pickup truck to hit the Chevy Traverse, pushing the vehicle into the Jeep Cherokee.
The driver of the Chevy Traverse possibly had a medical episode, leading to the driver passing out and running the light.
The driver of the Chevy Traverse was taken to the hospital with non-incapacitating injuries.
The Cherokee driver was taken to the hospital with non-incapacitating injuries. The passenger was released at the scene.
The driver of the Chevy pickup was also released at the scene.
The police are investigating the accident.
