El Paso, TX – The man who died after being involved in a bicycle accident on Tuesday in East El Paso has been identified as Arturo Galvan, 67, according to the police.
The accident happened around 10:46 a.m. on October 7 at the intersection of Turner Road and Healy Drive near Joe Battle Boulevard.
Police said a man was driving a 2023 Dodge Charger eastbound in the 12000 block of Turner, approaching Galvan, who was also riding his bicycle eastbound on Turner.
Galvan made a U-turn in front of the Dodge, resulting in a collision in the eastbound lanes.
Galvan was taken to the hospital with serious injuries, where he died on Wednesday, October 8.
The police are investigating the accident.
