The deadly accident happened just before 1:00 p.m. on October 15 at the Pepsi Bottling Plant on Northeast Loop 410 near Old Seguin Road.

San Antonio, TX – A man was killed Wednesday afternoon in a workplace accident in San Antonio, according to the police.
The deadly accident happened just before 1:00 p.m. on October 15 at the Pepsi Bottling Plant on Northeast Loop 410 near Old Seguin Road.
Police said the 60-year-old truck driver had put on his safety vest after noticing that he had spilled off his cargo onto the parking area. While he was picking up the items, he was struck by a tractor-trailer that was backing up into the last parking lot.
The tractor-trailer pinned the man against the loading dock.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released.
The authorities are investigating the accident.
