Round Rock, TX – An adult and a student were injured Thursday morning in a traffic collision involving a school bus in Round Rock, according to officials.
The collision occurred around 8:19 a.m. on October 16 at the intersection of West Louis Henna Boulevard and County Road 172.
Officials said a Round Rock ISD bus collided with two cars at the intersection.
One of the vehicles caught on fire after the collision.
The bus driver evacuated eight students from the bus.
All the students and the bus driver were evaluated at the scene.
One student required medical attention and was released to their family.
The other students were returned to campus.
An adult from one of the other vehicles was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The authorities are investigating the accident.
