The trooper suffered minor injuries and was taken to a local hospital for treatment

Lubbock, TX. – A DPS trooper was injured in a collision on Tuesday evening in Lubbock.
According to the Lubbock County Sheriff’s Office, the accident happened around 5:45 p.m. at 50th Street and Chicago Avenue.
The trooper was assisting another trooper in catching a felony suspect when they collided with another car.
The trooper suffered minor injuries and was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
