The tow truck driver was injured in the collision and was transported to the hospital for treatment

Montgomery County, TX. – A tow truck driver was injured in a collision involving a suspected drunk driver early Sunday morning in Montgomery County.
According to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, the accident happened around 2:30 a.m. on the Eastex Freeway.
A Chevrolet pickup truck reportedly crashed into a barrier on the freeway.
Fire units, EMS crews, and a tow truck responded to assist and secure the scene.
A short time later, a passing driver hit both the fire truck and the tow truck.
The tow truck driver was injured in the collision and was transported to the hospital for treatment.
Police say both drivers in the separate crashes were intoxicated, and charges are pending.
