Dalhart, TX – Four people were killed Wednesday afternoon in a two-vehicle collision south of Dalhart, according to the Texas DPS.
The fatal collision happened at about 1:40 p.m. on November 5 on US 87.
TxDPS said Myunique Johnson, 20, of Stratford, was driving a Nissan Altima on the highway at a slow rate of speed because of a flat tire.
Daniel Villarreal Guadalupe, 39, was driving a semi-truck when he failed to control his speed and rear-ended the Altima.
Johnson and her three passengers, Lakeisha Brown, 18, of Galveston, Breanna Brantley, 31, Rosharon, and Taylor White, 28, of Missouri City, were pronounced dead at the scene.
Guadalupe was transported to Coon Memorial Hospital in Dalhart with non-life-threatening injuries.
No additional information was available.
The TxDPS is investigating the accident.
