Ector County, TX – A woman died on Saturday after being involved in a two-vehicle accident on Thursday in Ector County, according to the Texas DPS.
The accident happened on November 13 at the intersection of East Cottonwood and North Saddlehorn Lane.
DPS said Roberta Hall Willhelm, 76, of Gardendale, was driving a Buick Park Avenue and was turning left onto Saddlehorn Lane. She failed to yield the right of way and collided with a Chevrolet Silverado that was traveling eastbound on Cottonwood Road.
Willhelm was taken to Medical Center Hospital with serious injuries, where she was pronounced dead on Saturday, November 15.
The Silverado driver, a 20-year-old Fort Stockton man, was taken to Medical Center Hospital with minor injuries.
The DPS is investigating the accident.
