A vehicle was travelling northbound in the southbound lanes of State Highway 121 and collided with an oncoming vehicle.

Richland Hills, TX. – One person is dead following a collision on Sunday morning in Richland Hills.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the accident happened around 5:30 a.m. in the 6900 block of State Highway 121.
A vehicle was travelling northbound in the southbound lanes of State Highway 121 and collided with an oncoming vehicle.
One vehicle caught fire after the collision.
The driver was extricated from the vehicle after the fire was extinguished and was pronounced dead at the scene by the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office.
The driver of the second vehicle suffered minor injuries and was transported to the hospital for treatment.
Police suspect intoxication as a factor in the accident.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
