The driver of the Sierra was airlifted to Corpus Christi for treatment.

Alice, TX. – A man was killed, and another was injured in a multi-car accident on Saturday in Alice.
According to local police, the accident happened around 12:45 p.m. on US 281 Northbound.
A 51-year-old man was driving a Toyota Solara southbound on US 281 when he rear-ended a Kenworth truck towing a semi-trailer.
He proceeded across the grassy median into the northbound lanes, where he collided head-on with a GMC Sierra. The impact caused the trailer to leave the road and roll.
The Toyota caught fire, trapping the driver.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the Sierra was airlifted to Christus Spohn Shoreline Hospital in Corpus Christi for treatment.
The Kenworth driver and the passenger were unhurt.
Police are investigating the accident.
