The driver of one of the vehicles was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries

Tyler, TX. – A driver was injured in a crash involving a school bus crash in Tyler on Tuesday evening.
According to local authorities, the accident happened on the 10000 block of Highway 271 N.
A Tyler ISD school bus with 36 middle and high school students was involved in a crash with two other vehicles. The circumstances surrounding the collision were not immediately determined.
The driver of one of the vehicles was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
No students in the school bus were injured in the crash.
No other person was reported injured in the other vehicles.
The road was shut down due to cleanup operations.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
