Houston, TX – One person was killed early Saturday morning in a two-vehicle collision in Houston, according to the police.
The fatal collision occurred around 2:15 a.m. on December 13 in the southbound lanes of US 59 (Southwest Freeway) near Chimney Rock Road.
Police said a sedan was stalled in the second left lane of the freeway when it was rear-ended by a wrecker truck.
The wrecker pushed the sedan for a distance on the freeway after the collision.
The sedan driver was killed in the accident. Their identity has not been released.
The driver of the wrecker was uninjured in the accident and cooperated with the investigators.
The police are investigating the accident.
