The 75-year-old man sustained serious injuries and was transported to the hospital

San Antonio, TX. – A 75-year-old man was injured in a pedestrian accident on Monday evening in San Antonio.
According to the San Antonio Police Department, the auto-pedestrian accident occurred in the 900 block of Southeast Military Drive at around 7:30 p.m.
An elderly man reportedly stepped onto the road, directly in the path of the SUV, and was struck.
The 75-year-old man sustained serious injuries and was transported to the hospital. His condition was deemed critical.
The SUV driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the police. Preliminary investigation indicated that the driver was not under the influence of drugs or alcohol
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
