One person dies in a collision on US Highway 277 South near Reece Road in San Angelo

San Angelo, TX. – One person was killed in a collision that happened on Tuesday evening in San Angelo.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the accident happened around 6 p.m. on U.S. Highway 277 South at Reece Road.
A Chevy Blazer and a black SUV were involved in the collision. The collision sent the SUV off the roadway, coming to a stop beyond the borrow ditch on the side of the roadway with major front-end damage.
One person was killed in the collision.
The identity of the deceased person was not immediately disclosed.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
