Cochran County, TX. – At least one person was injured in a Friday night car accident in Cochran County.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the accident happened at TX 214 and FM 1585.
A Sudan Boys Basketball Team bus, driven by the team coach, was t-boned by a passenger car in unclear circumstances.
The driver of the other car was airlifted by helicopter to UMC.
The boys and the coach suffered sustained minor injuries in the accident, according to a statement from Sudan ISD.
Motorists were urged to find alternative routes to avoid traffic delays.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
