Midland, TX. – Three people were injured in a car crash on Thursday evening in Midland.

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the accident occurred around 5:10 p.m. in the 1400 block of North Fairgrounds Road.

A 2005 Nissan Altima was traveling southbound on Fairgrounds Road and was struck by a Jeep Wrangler that reportedly failed to yield the right of way while exiting a private drive.

The collision caused the Jeep to roll over.

The driver and passenger of the Nissan Altima sustained serious injuries and were taken to Midland Memorial Hospital.

The driver of the Jeep sustained minor injuries and was transported to Midland Memorial Hospital.

An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
