Anderson County, TX – A man was killed, and another person was injured on Wednesday in a two-vehicle collision in Anderson County, according to the Texas DPS.
The fatal collision happened on December 17 on US Highway 79 near ACR 367.
DPS said John Lamb, 66, of Palestine, was driving a Scion hatchback in the southbound shoulder when he made an unsafe turn in front of a northeast Ford pickup, causing the Ford to crash into the driver’s side of the Scion.
Lamb was killed in the accident. His passenger was taken to Palestine Regional in Palestine in critical condition.
The DPS is investigating the accident.
