Odessa, TX – One person was killed Friday night in a bicycle accident in Odessa, according to the police.
The deadly accident was reported around 7:16 p.m. on December 19 in the 7700 block of Andrews Highway.
Police said a black Chevrolet pickup truck was traveling southbound on the highway when it rear-ended a southbound bicycle.
The bicyclist was taken to Medical Center Hospital, where they later died. The victim’s identity has not been released.
No additional details were released.
The police are investigating the accident.
