Pilot Point, TX – The two bicyclists who were hit and killed by a vehicle Saturday morning in Pilot Point have been identified as Andre Kocher and Scott Mages, according to officials.
The deadly accident happened at about 8:19 a.m. on December 20 on FM 455 E just east of Fritcher Road.
Police said Kocher and Mages were riding their bicycles when they were struck by a vehicle on the highway.
One of the cyclists was taken to Celina Methodist Hospital, where he later died. The other cyclist was airlifted to Medical City Plano, where he also later died.
Both Kocher and Mages were members of the Frisco Triathlon Club.
No additional information regarding the accident was available.
The police are investigating the accident.
