Beaumont, TX – One person was injured Monday morning in a two-vehicle collision near Beaumont, according to the Texas DPS.
The collision happened around 7:41 a.m. on December 22 on Interstate Highway 10 near Boyt Road.
DPS said a 30-year-old Maryland woman was driving a Ford SUV in the inside westbound lane when she failed to stay in her lane and hit a truck tractor semi-trailer that was traveling in the outside lane.
The impact caused the SUV to overturn.
An adult passenger in the SUV was taken to a Southeast Texas hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
No other injuries were reported in the accident.
The DPS is investigating the accident.
