Midland, TX – One person was seriously injured Monday afternoon in an e-bike accident in Midland, according to the police.
The accident occurred around 2:32 p.m. on December 22 in the 5800 block of the north service road on State Highway 191.
Police said an e-bike rider was crossing the service road from the northbound median when he failed to yield the right of way and was struck by a westbound semi-truck that was pulling a gravel trailer.
The e-bike rider was taken to Midland Memorial Hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The police are investigating the accident.
