Austin, TX – A woman was killed early Saturday morning in a DUI collision in northeast Austin, according to the police.
The deadly collision was reported around 2:54 a.m. on December 20 in the 8400 block of East U.S. Highway 290.
Police said a tow truck collided with an SUV on the westbound side of the highway.
A female passenger in the SUV was pronounced dead at the scene. Her name has not been released.
Jordan Atkins, 32, was arrested and charged with intoxication manslaughter.
No additional information was available.
