A 19-year-old driver of one of the vehicles was pronounced dead at the scene

Austin, TX. – A 19-year-old was killed in a car crash on Tuesday morning in Austin.
According to the Austin Police Department, the accident happened around 9 a.m. in the 8100 block of North MoPac Expressway just south of U.S. 183.
Two southbound vehicles were involved in a rear-end collision, but the events leading up to the accident were not immediately determined.
A 19-year-old driver of one of the vehicles was pronounced dead at the scene.
The other driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the police.
No one else was injured in the crash.
An investigation into the deadly crash is ongoing.
