Austin, TX – A person was fatally hit by a Capital Metro bus Wednesday evening in Austin, according to the authorities.
The deadly accident happened around 7:15 p.m. on January 7 near the intersection of West Sixth Street and Rio Grande Street.
Authorities said an adult was struck by a CapMetro bus, under unclear circumstances, near the intersection.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. Their identity has not been released.
Additional details were not released.
