San Antonio, TX – A woman was hit and killed by a train Friday afternoon in San Antonio’s West Side, according to the police.
The deadly accident was reported around 2:05 p.m. on January 9 near the intersection of Saltillo Street and South Brazos Street.
Police said the woman was walking on the side of the railroad tracks when she was struck by a train.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Her name has not been released.
Additional details were not provided.
The police are investigating the accident.
