Houston, TX – A 29-year-old man was killed Monday night in a pedestrian accident in Houston, according to the police.
The deadly accident happened around 11:35 p.m. on January 5 in the 13700 block of Clay Road.
Police said the man was attempting to cross the roadway in a dark area when he was struck by a westbound black Honda Accord driven by a 36-year-old man.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released.
The driver stayed at the scene, was not impaired, and was questioned and released.
The police are investigating the accident.
