Parmer County, TX. – Two people were killed in a car crash that left another seriously injured early Sunday morning in Parmer County.
According to local authorities, the accident occurred around 1 a.m. at the intersection of U.S. 60 and F.M. 3140.
A 2018 GMC Yukon was traveling northbound on FM 3140 and was turning onto US 60 when it was hit by an eastbound 2026 Freightliner truck tractor towing a trailer.
The driver of the Yukon and his passenger were killed in the accident.
A second passenger in the Yukon sustained serious injuries and was taken to the hospital for treatment.
The driver of the semi-truck was unhurt.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
