Edwin Barajas and his passenger, 25-year-old Freddy Chocoj-Garcia, died at the scene.

Parmer County, TX. – Two people were killed in a car crash that left another seriously injured early Sunday morning in Parmer County.
According to local authorities, the accident occurred around 1 a.m. at the intersection of U.S. 60 and F.M. 3140.
26-year-old Edwin Abraham Zaragoza Barajas was driving a 2018 GMC Yukon northbound on FM 3140 and was turning onto US 60 when he was hit by an eastbound 2026 Freightliner truck tractor towing a trailer.
Barajas and his passenger, 25-year-old Freddy Alexander Chocoj-Garcia, died at the scene.
A second passenger in the Yukon, 24-year-old Jesus Osuna, sustained critical injuries and was taken to the Hospital.
The semi driver, 62-year-old Eric Farr, was unhurt in the accident.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
