A car was driving the wrong way in the northbound lanes of I-35W when it hit another vehicle

Fort Worth, TX. – Two people were killed in a collision involving a wrong-way driver early Saturday morning in Fort Worth.
According to the Fort Worth Police Department, the fatal collision happened around 2:08 a.m. on Interstate-35W and Garden Acres Drive.
A car was driving the wrong way in the northbound lanes of I-35W when it hit another vehicle.
Two people in the vehicle that was hit died.
The wrong-way driver, 18-year-old Axel Perez, was arrested and faces charges of intoxicated manslaughter with a vehicle.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
