Rhome, TX – Two people were critically injured Thursday afternoon in a three-vehicle collision near Rhome, according to the authorities.
The collision occurred around 3:45 p.m. on January 22 on Texas 114.
Authorities said a sedan was struck by a three-quarter-ton pickup truck. A third vehicle was also involved in the collision.
A child in the sedan was airlifted to Cook Children’s Medical Center in critical condition. The sedan driver, a woman, was taken by ground ambulance to John Peter Smith Hospital in critical condition.
The pickup truck driver was uninjured in the collision.
A woman in the third vehicle suffered minor injuries but declined to be taken to the hospital.
No other details were provided.
The collision remains under investigation.
