Abilene, TX – A 24-year-old Abilene man was killed Thursday night in a motorcycle accident in Abilene, according to the police.
The deadly accident happened around 10:00 p.m. on January 22 in the 5400 block of Buffalo Gap Road near Bettes Lane.
Police said Kaydien Putman was riding a 2008 Kawasaki motorcycle southbound when he collided with a 2011 Mazda CX-7 that was turning onto Buffalo Gap Road.
Putman was ejected from his motorcycle and was pronounced dead at the scene. He was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.
Speed was a factor in the accident.
The police are investigating the accident.
