Liberty County, TX. – A 49-year-old Liberty County man died in a fiery car crash on Friday morning in Liberty County.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the crash happened at the intersection of FM 2820 and U.S. 90 at around 8:30 a.m.
A 2012 Dodge Ram 1500 was traveling south on FM 2830 and was approaching the stop sign at U.S. 90 when the driver reportedly failed to yield the right of way.
The driver attempted to turn left onto US 90 and was struck by a westbound 2015 Dodge Ram 2500 towing a trailer.
The 2012 Dodge Ram burst into flames after the collision.
The driver of the 2012 Dodge Ram died at the scene.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
