Harris County, TX. – One person died after being struck by a pickup on Tuesday evening in Harris County.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the accident happened on the Northwest Freeway service road near Spring Cypress Road.
A Ford F-150 was traveling westbound and was attempting to make a right turn into a private drive when it struck a man riding a mini-bike.
The man was ejected and was run over by the Ford F-150, trapping him under the truck.
The mini-bike rider was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the Ford F-150 showed no signs of impairment.
Officers do not suspect speed was a factor in the crash.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
