Houston, TX – A man was killed Tuesday night in a pedestrian accident in west Houston, according to the police.
The deadly accident occurred just after 10:00 p.m., on February 3 on Highway 6 north of Westheimer.
Police said the man was crossing in the middle of the highway, outside of a crosswalk, when he was struck by a southbound Hyundai.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released.
The Hyundai driver stayed at the scene and was evaluated and released. They were not impaired at the time of the accident.
No further details were provided.
The police are investigating the accident.
