The accident occurred at about 3:00 p.m. on January 28 in the 400 block of North Sidney Baker Street at the intersection of Schreiner Street.

Kerrville, TX – A 17-year-old boy was seriously injured last month after being struck by a Kerrville Independent School District bus in Kerrville, according to officials.
The accident occurred at about 3:00 p.m. on January 28 in the 400 block of North Sidney Baker Street at the intersection of Schreiner Street.
Officials said the teenager was riding a skateboard eastbound on Schreiner Street when he turned southbound onto Sidney Baker Street and veered into the sidewalk. He lost his balance, fell into the street, and hit the side of the school bus. He was then run over by the rear tires of the bus. He was airlifted to a San Antonio hospital with serious injuries.
The victim was a student in the district.
No other injuries were reported in the accident.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
