The pickup truck struck the rear of a school bus after sideswiping a passenger car

Austin, TX. – A Round Rock ISD school bus driver was hospitalized following a crash on Tuesday afternoon in Austin.
According to the Austin Police Department, the accident happened at Pecan Park Boulevard and Lakeline Drive at around 2:30 p.m.
A pick-up truck driven by a 37-year-old man was speeding on SH 45 Tollway after evading a trooper who tried to stop him.
The pickup truck struck the rear of a school bus after sideswiping a passenger car.
The school bus driver was transported to the hospital.
The school bus had no children inside.
The 37-year-old driver was arrested.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
